What are the ages for camp?Our current camp offerings are available for ages 6-12. For our older adventurers aged 12-16 (summer offerings only), we have special two-day teen camps. Any individual looking to discuss the age requirement, please contact camps@aquatarium.ca - We try to accommodate as we see fit.

What are the camp hours?Camp AQ regular operating hours are 9:00am – 4:00pm. Parents/Guardians do however have the option to extend their campers time by adding before (8:15am) and after (4:45pm) care – This is an additional cost/upgrade.

What type of activities happen at camp?At CAMP AQ, every day is a unique adventure! Our camp program is designed around exciting daily and weekly themes that guide a diverse range of activities. Whether it's unleashing creativity through arts and crafts, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying team challenges, there's something to captivate every camper's interests. We believe in a balanced approach, offering structured, guided activities alongside ample time for free play. Our facility is designed as a giant play zone, fostering an environment where imagination thrives and friendships blossom.

What is the camp capacity for each session?We’ve got 16 spots available for each PA Day. If you camp fills up (which happens because they’re so awesome), no worries! Just shoot us an email at camps@aquatarium.ca to hop on the waitlist. Don’t miss out – there’s always a chance to be part of the fun!

What is the absent/sick policy?Campers are not permitted to come to camp if they are not feeling well. If your child is sick, will be absent or late, we ask that you email us as soon as possible at camps@aquatarium.ca to ensure we receive the message.

The VIP Mermaids experience is back for 2025! Make the most of your AQ Mermaids experience by becoming a VIP. Our VIPS receive several perks as well as a separate entrance. We have 30 VIP passes available per time slot, so make sure to book your VIP tickets early before they sell out!

This year, in addition to MERMAIDS: ENCHANTING ENCOUNTERS, we are excited to present an exclusive and unforgettable performance at the Brockville Arts Hub - Riverbank Tales: A Mermaid Adventure.
During the Mermaids event, from March 1st - March 16th, there will be two showtimes each day at The Arts Hub. This includes the 45 minute captivating performance, followed by an exclusive meet and greet with the Mermaids. The Arts Hub is located at 32 Park St. - a 2 minute drive and 10 minute walk from the Aquatarium. You won’t want to miss this incredible display of local talent - adding a whole new level of enchantment to your Mermaids experience.
riverbank tales: a mermaid adventure
Riverbank Tales: A Mermaid Adventure is a charming new stage play for young audiences that will delight both the young and the young at heart with its blend of storytelling, laughter, and whimsy. Set on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, the show follows an enchanting mermaid with a flair for storytelling and her three mischievous otter companions. Together, they weave exciting tales about her magical mermaid friends from across the world. This heartwarming adventure will bring imagination to life with a mix of humour, music, puppetry and theatre magic! A perfect outing for families, Riverbank Tales celebrates friendship, creativity, and the magic of stories.

Welcome to the International Mermaids of 2025! We are so excited to announce that this year, the Mermaids event will include Mermaids and Mermaid tales from all over the world. There will be 6 pavilions throughout the Aquatarium, where you will be able to step inside and immerse yourself into another world filled with Mermaid magic and treasures. While you're inside, you will be able to meet and interact with the mermaids from that area, learn about their stories and tales, and get some special Mermaid souvenirs.

MERMAIDS GALA
Returning for 2025 is the beloved Mermaids Gala! This glamorous event is the ultimate kick-off off for our Mermaids event. This year, our Mermaids Gala will take place on February 28th, 2025. For 2025, the Mermaids Masquerade Gala will be a Mardi Gras-inspired celebration with live jazz, themed food and drinks, and casino games for charity. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting event and tickets!
